What is GNM Full Form In Hindi
GNM full form is General Nurse and Midwifery. This is a diploma course. Both boys and girls can take this course.
The duration of this course is 3 years and 6 months. At first, the course lasted 3 years but now it has a 6-month internship added.
The course focuses mainly on individuals, families, and the community.
For GNM admission you need to have passed 10th and 12th in any recognized institution. You need to score at least 40% in 12th grade for GNM admission.
Qualification For GNM
The student must have a minimum age limit of 17 years and a maximum of 35 years for this nursing course.
According to the Indian Nursing Council for this course, a student must have passed 12th in physics, chemistry, and biology (PCB). They can do this course.
A child from a different stream can take this course if he or she has scored more than 40% marks in the 12th exam.
Course fees for GNM
The course lasts 3 years and 6 months. GNM course fees vary in government collage and private collage.
In government colleges, the fee is around Rs 75,000 to Rs 1 lakh or in private collages it is around Rs 2 lakh.
